Thursday with The Bullets

I really need to carve out a space for outfit photos now that I'm a blogger.
My home decor style is very "maximalist."
I'm all about quirky clutter, which makes it hard to find a backdrop for outfit photos.
If my house looks clean, it's all smoke and mirror apps.

How cute is this new dress?

The cardigan was purchased from Express a few years back. Their clothes are pricey, but they sure hold up well! I can't really justify the cost of Express clothing personally, but my MIL bought me a few staple items a few years back that I still wear all the time.

The tights are from ModCloth and the T-Strap shoes I'm wearing are Kimchi Blue brand (Urban Outfitters) but I got them second hand at Plato's Closet for $12!
So comfy for dancing and they match almost every dress in my wardrobe.
The newest addition to my Funko Pop collection...
{I've been on a Pulp Fiction kick lately.}

I've been playing with the Enlight app. I can't stop adding pixie dust effects to all of my photos.

If you're reading this and you know me in real life, you likely know that I love going to see The Bullets on Thursdays. If you didn't know this about me, then I'm doing a terrible job at blogging about my life because my Thursdays are a huge part of it!

The Bullets are a local rockabilly band in Wilmington, Delaware. My dad has been going to see them since before I was born. I grew up listening to their music, only having a vague idea that they were local. To me, they were just "one of Dad's CDs."

Shortly after I turned 21, my dad took me to see The Bullets for the first time and my life was forever changed. They are such an amazing, talented group with a loyal following in the area.

They play every Thursday at the same bar and my dad and I go as often as we can.
I don't think it would be a stretch to say that falling in love with the rockabilly scene was a catalyst of sorts for me finding my personal style and self-confidence.

App Recipe: I used Perfect Pic app to freeze frame a clip of a video from my phone then used Party!Party! to made a stop motion .gif

I made this video using the Replay app, which I just discovered.
Super easy to use and there are lots of fun themes like this silent film-style.
I love trying new photo and video editing apps.
I may do a round-up post of my favorite ones!

UPDATE: Someone just tagged me in this photo on facebook and I love it!
